Four Movements

1 March - 30 April 2021 Jaffa
Overview

Omer Tiroche Gallery is proud to present Four Movements, a solo exhibition by Adam Leef, curated by Fernanda Tockus.

Adam Leef's "Four Movements" exhibition is an ode to the Mediterranean atmospheric physicality.

Observing the skyline during all seasons throughout the years, from a unique sitting point on the shoreline's dry vegetation of Arsuf Kedem, where the artist has been working daily since 2012, resulted in an ever-evolving practice.

In this series of watercolor drawings created in 2019 and 2020, Bright, Purple, Blue, and Dark are torn into a climatic melody of colors captured within the unique Middle Eastern arid scenario.

The engaging and naturally compelling contemplation of the sea that remits to us the lust for discovery, quest, expectation, or serenity; when regarded by the painter, as a labor colleague, emanates its own physical elements, unveiling its innermost colors.
